Call centre’s not for me
• I AM shocked to find out from Camden Fed about the council’s plans to privatise the cleaning service and hive off rent collections to a call centre.
This in essence means I will have to discuss my personal rent issues with a faceless person.
I am opposed to these services being cut.
I am also opposed to the sale of council homes to raise money for repairs. I have not been consulted on any of this. I have no tenants’/ residents’ association and the workshop organised by Councillor Chris Naylor did not give me a choice, just asked me what I would prioritise from a list to which I had no opportunity to contribute. Camden should continue to insist on direct investment from government. This is not consultation, it’s CONsultation! Steven Giddings
