THE Town Hall has again moved to stop the size of compensation payouts to senior staff from being revealed.
Liberal Democrat finance chief Councillor Janet Grauberg said on Monday that there was “a risk of individual compensation packages becoming the subject of public speculation” if it was revealed how £1.7 million in severance
settlements paid out in the past two years had been divided.
Camden has already turned down requests for the details under the
Freedom of Information Act and Audit Commission Act.
