Resign?
• I AM glad that the council has, after some consideration, accepted that it was at fault for the untimely and unnecessary death of Ralph ‘Barney’ Kennedy (New Journal, November 15). I looked the following week and expected to see letters that had something to say about this, however, there were none. I felt I had to write and openly ask Neil Litherland, Camden’s housing director, why he has not resigned and does he intend to do so?
It is bad enough when any person loses their life, however, we have recently had two people lose their lives due to the poor workmanship on our council estates.
Saurav Ghai was tragically robbed of his young life when a council estate wall fell onto him.
I urge Mr. Litherland to consider his position. DF GOWERS
