Repairs to kids’ pool
THE kids pool at Swiss Cottage is going to close for 10 days in December after a movable floor broke.
Camden Council has forced contractors who installed a rope and pulley mechanism – which raises and lowers the depth of the learning pool – to fit new machinery. The system has broken down f our times since it opened in March 2006.
Leisure chief Councillor Flick Rea said: “Technical problems with the movable floor have been extremely disappointing and I’m pleased it will be upgraded at no cost to the council.”
