Broadcaster backs kids’ support service
BROADCASTER Jon Snow gave Camden’s youth something to shout about this week when he emphasised the importance of giving young people a voice.
The journalist fronted a conference for the Camden’s Children’s Fund – a service for five to 15-year-olds who might suffer exclusion or mental health issues – held at The London Irish Centre in Camden Square.
During the four-hour event, which marked International Day of Children’s Rights, Mr Snow said: “My own experience has taught me the importance of consulting young people. That’s basically what’s going on here today – we’re empowering
young people.”
