• YET another closure of the children’s pool at Swiss Cottage swimming baths, for 10 days this time.
What a pity that Camden Council rushed headlong into closing Prince of Wales swimming pool instead of considering whether there were ways of keeping it open on a temporary basis.
The renovation work hasn’t even started yet. In fact planning permission has still not been obtained.
If ways could have been found of overcoming the problems on a temporary basis, children could be swimming there now.
But Camden Council didn’t even bother to try.
