Harrods donates a bag of bears to help the Royal Free party
CHILDREN at the Royal Free Hospital received a furry special delivery when the world famous department store Harrods, handed over a crate load of teddy bears just in time for Christmas.
Every child on Ward 6 North at the Hampstead hospital was given a cuddly friend to snuggle up to.
Nathalie O’Keefe, play specialist in the ward said: “Even though it happens every year, the surprise and delight on the children’s faces is always amazing to see. “The bears come with the day’s date printed on their feet, which makes it such a good memento.”
The photograph taken on the day will be used as part of a thank-you card to Harrods for its generosity to the hospital.
