Moves afoot to pave the streets with musical gold
THE streets of Camden may be paved with gold by September if an exciting project that could see Camden Town twinned with Hollywood through a musical walk of fame comes to fruition.
A committee behind the Camden Walk of Fame met at the Bar Solo in Inverness Street – last night (Wednesday) to discuss ideas.
The Walk of Fame would mirror the American version in Tinseltown – and uniquely has won the backing of Hollywoood’s Walk of Fame president Leron Gubler. But instead of featuring film stars, it would showcase Camden’s music royalty.
Walk of Fame’s Lee Bennett said: “Camden has set up more scenes than anywhere else in the world.”
