Samba on song with awesome foursome

A CLINICAL display of finishing from Mo Samba, who hit four, earned Moorehouse the biggest win of the weekend as they netted eight past Tevekkeli to book their place in the quarter-finals of the Bill Price Memorial Cup.
Two goals from Thavede Aydee and strikes from Ali Djemal and Hayati Sen completed the rout as the Division One side ran out 8-0 winners, setting up a mouthwatering tie against high-flying Phoenix in the last eight.
League One strugglers Os Lusos will face Second Division Side Dinamo Dorigo in the quarters after the two sides also progressed through on Sunday. Os Lusos beat AFC Shooters 4-2, while Dinamo edged past FC Bertoli 3-2 in a five goal thriller.
Meanwhile, in the league, Reddot are just one point off the pace with a game in hand after sealing a resounding 4-1 win over table-toppers Cobden Athletic.
The Dots raced into an early lead courtesy of an instinctive finish from Paul “Trigger” Reid. John Donovan doubled their advantage with a well-taken header. But Cobden quickly pulled a goal back through Pat Jones. And early in the second half, Jones thought he’d equalised only for his strike to be ruled offside.
The scare sparked Reddot into life and they increased their lead when Jason Medford netted the goal of the game with an exquisite 30-yard volley. Medford then completed a man-of-the-match performance with his second goal to add the finishing touches to a 4-1 victory.
In Division Two DOM remain five points clear following a convincing win over Hornsey. Hotshot Deji Davies stole the show with a stunning hat-trick, while Tom Bunting bagged a brace to lead DOM to a 5-1 win.
The Constitution remain second with a game in hand after beating Surreal Madrid 3-0. The Cons took the lead following a nice interchange of passes on the right wing between Sam O’Neill and Seb Timmins, Timmins sent O’Neill wide and broke into the box, O’Neill then returned the ball a final time with a well-placed cross for Timmins to finish first time from close range.
O’Neill doubled the advantage when he produced a magical 35-yard lob over the Madrid keeper before Scott Read completed the scoring.
The only fixture in Division Three saw River Fleet record their fifth win of the season with a 3-0 win over the Surreal Madrid ‘D’ team thanks to a brace from Neil Rodgers and a strike from Guillaume Faget.
