Air rifle death verdict
FOUR men were convicted of involvement in a botched drugs robbery in which a man was killed by a shot from his own air rifle.
Robert Lettin, 57, died in the Royal Free hospital of a chest wound sustained when four men raided his house in Litchfield Road, Cricklewood, for his cash and cannabis supply last January.
Believing Mr Lettin was withholding some of his stash, one robber, Francis Boateng, grabbed the rifle and fired at Mr Lettin.
Boateng, 25, from Grahame Park estate, Colindale, was convicted of manslaughter on Tuesday.
