Town’s six strikes seal Sparta’s fate
Spartan South Midlands League – Division One
Brace Sparta 0 Kentish Town 6
STRIKER Lee Scott put on one of the performances of the season on Saturday when he scored five goals to help send Kentish Town back to the top of the table.
The first goal came midway through the first-half when Scott raced clear of the defence and slotted the ball past the onrushing keeper.
The prolific marksman doubled the advantage on the stroke of half-time before completing his hat-trick on the hour mark when he rounded the keeper and calmly tapped the ball into an empty net.
Scott was far from finished, and went on to complete a man-of-the- match display with two more quick fire goals.
Mark Doyle completed the rout late on when he latched on to Thomas Looney’s cross and fired home from close range to seal an emphatic win.
