Potters break ton barrier
TABLE toppers Boston Potters broke the 100 point mark on Monday when they beat Peckwater in a thrilling Division One contest in the Chalk Farm Pool League.
The Potters sealed a nail-biting 5-4 victory to take their tally to 103 points from their opening 13 games, leaving them six clear of Unicorn, who kept up the pressure with a 7-2 win over the Gloucester Arms.
Swiss Scientists are third following their 6-3 win over Boston Rimmers.
Elsewhere Boston Boys beat the Cricklewood Hotel ‘A’ team 7-2, while Boston Arms beat Swiss Guard 8-1.
In Division Two Murray Arms are now a full 36 points clear at the top after clinching a resounding 9-0 win over the Grafton Hustlers.
In the remaining fixtures there were wins for the Gloucester Arms ‘B’ team and Whittington Stone, who won their respective games against Unicorn Ladies and Grafton Arms 6-3.
