Three-scoring Park on fire!

Pace-setting Under-11s go three points clear at the top after win

HAMPSTEAD maintained their 100 per cent start to the season in the Under-8s League on Saturday with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Brunswick.
Strikes from Joe Antoni and Mackie Bruce saw Hampstead storm into a 2-0 lead. But Brunswick hit back to level thanks to goals from Liam Fitzgerald and Elliot Baptiste.
With just minutes remaining on the clock, Riordan Holzwarth headed home a match-winning cross from Kai Steinsson-Brady to make it 11 wins out of 11 for Hampstead.
Chapel are five points clear in the Under-9s South Division after goals from Perry Price, George Osborn and Leshwn Awoyemi sealed a dramatic 3-2 win over Angel.
In the Under-10s ‘A’ League, a well-taken goal from Alfie Costello saw Isledon Wolves come from a goal down to snatch a point against ‘A’ Class. Meanwhile in the Under-10s ‘B‘ League, George Nash, Martin Walter, Montell Hurst and Emmanuel Anadozie were all on target as Chapel beat Islington Tufnell Youth 4-0.
Staying in the Under-10s ‘B’ League, hat-trick hero Lewis Johnson made a sparkling debut on Monday when he inspired an understrength Peel side to a convincing win over Regent‘s Park. Tyrone Mulholland was also on target as Peel ran out 4-0 winners, despite starting the game a player short.
The two teams met again in the Under-11s ‘B’ League. This time it was Regent’s Park (pictured) who took the points as they moved three points clear at the top of the table with a hard-fought 2-1 victory. After a goalless first-half, Regent’s Park raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to strikes from Randell Williams and Sam Ridley. Peel pulled a goal back through Kyron Farrell, but it proved too little, too late as Regent’s Park held out for the win.
There is still just three points separating the top four teams in the Under-11s ‘A’ League. St Pancras netted the result of the weekend as every single player in their team got on to the score sheet against Primrose Hill.
Alfie Francis led the charge with a stunning hat-trick, while Henry Hanifan and Alex Tegene both struck twice. Captain Alfie ‘Snapper’ Young, Hendrick Bungisa, Alfie Moir and Jack Smith were also all on target as the Saints marched to an 11-0 victory.
Hampstead Hawks are two points clear in the Under-12s ‘A’ League following their five-star performance against St Pancras. Conor Jones scored a delightful double, while Spike Powell, Luke Rushe and George Brenman also all found the back of the net.
Chapel are three points clear in the Under-12s ‘B’ League after two goals from Nemo Eslayed and strikes from O’Neal Rowe and Aston Stephenson sealed a 4-2 win over Hampstead.
Meanwhile in the Under-14s League, Aiden O’Brien hit the winner as Isledon Wolves beat Islington Tufnell Youth 1-0 to remain top.
