Faye’s on target as Gunners girls go back to top

Blackburn 1, Arsenal 3
THE defending champions went back to the top of the table on Sunday with a convincing victory over Blackburn.
Captain Faye White fired the north Londoners ahead before striker Julie Fleeting added a crucial second. A late penalty from Kelly Smith ensured the Gunners took all three points, leaving them a point clear at the top with six games in hand.

Spurs 4, Ebbsfleet United 0
STAR striker Rosi Webb continued her rich vein of form on Sunday with a stunning hat-trick against Ebbsfleet United. Mel Berry scored from the spot as Spurs clinched a resounding three points to move second in the table.
Greater London League: Division Two North
Newham 2, Camden Town 2
GOALS from Mary Guest and Megan Worthing-Davies saw Camden Town earn a frustrating 2-2 draw away against Newham. Town have now gained 14 points from 12 games.
Middlesex County Girls League Cup
SHARP-SHOOTERS Shauna Magner and Georgia Kinsella both bagged two goals apiece as Hampstead stormed past Ruislip Rangers. Kirsty Graham and Tara Campbell were also on target as the Under-14s side ran out 6-0 winners.
In the Under-13s competition, Hampstead came from a goal down to earn a 1-1 draw against Hendon thanks to a fantastic strike from Andrea Molina.

GOAL-GETTERS Saisha Moyce and Claire Field both scored twice on Sunday to help inspire Hampstead to a magnificent victory against Enfield. Kaelyn Lucas, Layla White and an own-goal completed the rout as Hampstead ran out 7-0 victors.
