Sunday league sharp-shooters take title in style
CHAMPIONS AFC Shooters are targeting more success next season after blitzing their title rivals to clinch the Division Three Championship in the Camden Sunday League. Shooters dropped just three points all season as they fired their way to glory to finish nine points clear at the top of the table. And the club couldn’t have picked a better name for themselves, having netted 66 goals in just 12 games to be crowned the highest scorers in the entire league.
Players from CS Maritimo were also celebrating over Easter after they clinched the Division Two title with a 4-1 victory over FC Bertoli. Strike partners Mitchell Grahem and Christopher Sanchez have been in unstoppable form this season, scoring 34 goals between them.
