Second-placed Hampstead Under-9s are well in the hunt

Title scramble run-in begins

Trophy-chasers set to go all guns blazing after easter break

TROPHY chasing teams in the Camden and Islington Youth League will prepare for their final title charge this week after enjoying an Easter break from Market Road.
In the Under-9s South Division unbeaten Chapel Boys are two points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand after taking 25 points from a possible 27 so far this season.
Rivals Westway and ‘A’ Class are joint second with 23 points each, and will be ready to pounce if Chapel make any mistakes.
League newcomers Fulham Wanderers are a win ahead of the chasing pack in the
Under-9s North Division with 25 points from their opening 10 games. With just four games to go, Hampstead and Crown and Manor are also still within touching distance of the title with 22 points each.
Hampstead are just two wins away from clinching the title in the Under-10s ‘A’ League. With three games to go, Hampstead are three points ahead of closest rivals Westway with a superior goal-difference.
In the Under-10s ‘B’ League, Islington Admiral Youth need six points to clinch the title having lost just one game all season.
Admiral are top with 28 points, five points ahead of Peel and seven points ahead of Chapel, although Chapel have a game in hand over their title rivals.
The Under-11s age category boasts two of the closest title races in the entire league.
In the ‘A’ division just four points separates the top four teams.
Table toppers Islington Admiral Hawks are two points clear on 28 points, but have played a game more than their rivals. Hampstead are second on 26 points, while St Pancras and FDS are third and fourth with 25 points and 24 points respectively.
Meanwhile in the ‘B’ League Crown and Manor, who have taken 31 points from 13 games, are a point ahead of Chapel and Regent’s Park but have played a game more than their two rivals. Peel are fourth with 24 points, seven points behind Crown and Manor but
with two games in hand.
Islington Admiral Youth and Hampstead Hawks are battling it out in a bid for glory in the Under-12s ‘A’ League.
Admiral remain unbeaten this season and are currently a point ahead of Hampstead with five games to go.
In the Under-12s ‘B’ Division Crown and Manor are a win ahead of their closest rivals with 28 points. Chapel and Lyndhurst are second and third with 25 points and 24 points respectively, although Chapel have played a game more.
Islington Tufnell Youth could open up a six point gap in the Under-13s ‘A’ League if they win their game in hand. Chapel and FDS are currently just three points behind Tufnell, although they have both played a game more.
Bridge Rovers look on course to take the title in the Under-13s ‘B’ League after opening up a five point lead at the top of the table with just three games to go.
With just four games to go there is still all to play for in the Under-14s League.
Isledon Wolves are top with 35 points, two points ahead of Brunswick. Lyndhurst are third with 29 points, but they still have a game in hand over the top two.
Finally Somers Town are a point clear in the Under-15s League with 34 points from 15 games.
Park View Rangers and Islington Admiral Youth are second and third with 33 points and 32 points
respectively, and both have a game in hand over the
league leaders.
