Pushing the envelopes
• I PLACED a free advertisement in the New Journal last week and, even before I had seen the issue, I had three phone calls and a secondhand bookseller had collected the bulk of once-used padded envelopes and bubble wrap I wanted to pass on for free.
I am glad all this stuff has not gone to waste. I could not find anyone I knew who wanted it and your free ad column was just the ticket.
I wonder whether it’s worth your having a special section for free advertisements aimed at recycling goods – perhaps in cahoots with the recycling manager at Camden Council. Thanks again to the CNJ!
