Hampstead super seal thrilling victory over Queen’s Park Rangers
SUPER subs Riordan Holzwarth, Mackie Bruce and Luke Dyer were the Hampstead heroes after leading their team to a thrilling 4-3 victory over Queen’s Park Rangers.
The Under-8s squad were among the teams invited to challenge the Championship side in a special four-team tournament at Capital City Academy in Willesden. And Hampstead didn’t disappoint as they twice came from behind to beat Rangers in a seven-goal thriller. Trailing 2-0 early on, Riordan came off the bench to score a delightful double and pull the scores level.
Queen’s Park Rangers edged back in front, but stunning strikes from Mackie and Dyer turned the match around as Hampstead sealed a memorable victory.
