Boston are top of the pots
BOSTON Potters were crowned Division One champions in the Chalk Farm Pool League on Monday after sealing a resounding 8-1 victory over title rivals Unicorn. The Potters have been in exceptional form this term, losing just three games all season.
The champs will be looking to end their campaign on a high this Monday when they face club rivals Boston Arms in their final league fixture.
Elsewhere in the top flight, the Sir Robert Peel ‘A’ team continued their push for a top three finish with a
narrow 5-4 win over Boston Boys.
There were also wins for Boston Rimmers and Boston Arms, who won their respective games against Peckwater and Cricklewood 6-3.
Meanwhile in the Camden Pool League, St Aloysius are on course to win the title after beating Cock Tavern 7-2.
The Golden Lion ‘A’ team are still in with an outside chance of taking the crown after they won 7-2 against the
Sovereign ‘A’ team.
