Saints coach Mourad hits by example
TOP St Pancras boxing coach Mourad Boudjemaa led by example on Friday when he stepped between the ropes at the West Ham Working Men’s Club.
The mighty middleweight, who lives in Kentish Town, out-pointed Andrew Death of Peacock Club over three, two-minute rounds.
Only the final bell stopped Mourad adding to his KO tally when he caught his opponent with a right uppercut and straight right to the head at the end of the second round.
• Former Saints star John McDermott is preparing at the gym in Talacre Road, Kentish Town, for his British heavyweight title fight against Danny Williams, to be held at the Goresbrook Leisure Centre in Dagenham on July 18.
