Bogac so quick off the blocks

SWIMMING star Bogac Ayhan became the fastest 14-year-old in the country when he won the 200m fly at the Derventio Excel Swim Squad Long Course Open Meet.
The Camden Swiss Cottage speedster took gold as he powered home in 2:13.91.
Bogac went on to achieve national qualifying times in four events, taking gold in the 100m backstroke and the 200m freestyle and bronze in the 200m backstroke.
Bogac also won gold in the 100m fly as Swiss Cottage clubmates Ensger Kotterink and Felix Samuels finishing second and third respectively.
Bogac completed his medal haul with a bronze in the 50m backstroke.
Ensger struck gold in the 200m and 400m freestyle, silver in the 200m individual medley and the 100m freestyle and bronze in the 200m fly. Not to be outdone, Felix won gold in the 50m and 100m freestyle, silver in the 200m freestyle and bronze in the 200m individual medley.
The gold rush continued with Alex Peake and Devon Robins touching home first in the 50m breaststroke and the 200m individual medley respectively.
Clubmate Naiomi Wakeham-Aredes knocked two seconds off her personal best in the 200m freestyle, before going on to claim bronze in 200m individual medley.
The ever-reliable Harry Needs ended the tourney in style with a new national qualifying time in the 400m individual medley.
