It’s clear who would have taken the new constituency

• HAD a general election been held on the same day on May 1, the Conservatives would have effectively won the new Hampstead & Kilburn constituency.
Despite extravagant claims from the Liberal Democrats, who came a very poor third the contest for Hampstead & Kilburn at the next constituency will be a straight two horse race between Conservatives and an increasingly beleaguered Labour .
