Growing together
• I COULDN'T disagree more with Sarah Hayward (Area forum was evening of political brainwashing, July 24).
This is the second area forum I have attended. Both have been very informative and a chance to meet others from around the ward one wouldn’t normally meet.
The discussion that interested me most was about identifying and utilising all the spare green space in the borough and encouraging people to grow food together.
This is a wonderful opportunity for bridge-building.
As a recent prize winner in the Camden in Bloom competition I would also like to mention the positive contributions individual and groups are making towards creating an environment that will contribute towards bringing harmony and beauty to our environment. We have to find meaningful solutions to our social and economic problems and we have to do this from the grass roots.
We were also provided with a wonderful vegetarian buffet.
