A police forensics officer on Eversholt Street yesterday (Wednesday) following a street brawl
Five arrests after man is stabbed during fighting

A 21-year-old man is in hospital with stab wounds to his back after a brawl in a Somers Town street early yesterday (Wednesday).
Four men and one woman were arrested after the fight in Eversholt Street. Another man was treated for a head wound in nearby University College London Hospital around 2am.
Drummond Crescent resident Karen Seaton, who was woken up by a loud argument in the street, said: “There was shouting, screaming, and it seemed to be moving along the street. When I looked out there were broken bottles and there was an ambulance there. There were women as well as men, all young.”
Police forensic teams were yesterday picking through evidence inside a double cordon that disrupted traffic all around Euston station.
Shops selling adult magazines and videos, a sauna, and a lap-dancing club were inside the inner cordon, where three cars were covered with fingerprinting dust.
One shopkeeper said: “We get junkies, needles, drinkers. Everywhere around here is so nice, but this seems to be a tolerated place for bad behaviour.”
A Met spokeswoman said that the five arrests were for violent disorder, and included the man being treated for knife wounds. The arrested woman was aged 20, and the three men in custody were 17, 18, and 23.
