Poets round here are bringing the house down
YOUNG poets cleared their throats and bared their souls at the Roundhouse last week in the battle to be crowned this year’s Poetry Slam Champion. The competition, judged by top poets Mike Garry, Jay Bernard and Jasmine Cooray, attracted a capacity audience for the final heat in the Chalk Farm venue’s studio space on Wednesday evening.
The winning entrants will go on to the grand final tomorrow (Friday).
