Jordan and Luke are Winch Euro heroes

Venue FC crowned 2008 Under-14 champs

PLAYERS from Venue FC were still celebrating this week after being crowned Under-14s winners in the Winch Euro 2008 Championships, at the Swiss Cottage Sports Pitch.
The triumphant team, which is based in West Hampstead, beat Fitzrovia 1-0 in the final thanks to a magnificent strike from Jordan Palmer. Venue, made up of a host of top players from the Camden and Islington Youth League, booked their place in the final after overcoming South Hampstead in the final four thanks to a penalty from Luke Rushe.
The boys will now be hoping to add even more silverware to their trophy cabinet at the end of the month when they take part in the finals of the prestigious Unity Cup.
