You’re waiting on a taxi, then one goes by in flames...
A CABBIE ran for his life on Wednesday morning when his car blew up – but managed to rescue a collection of suits he had been paid to collect. The driver, who did not want to be named, had been asked to pick up a wardrobe full of designer threads from a house in Dartmouth Park. But as he started his car up flames leapt from under the bonnet, and within seconds the car exploded.
Fire fighters rushed from Kentish Town Fire Station and extinguished the flames – but the heat of the fire damaged cars parked nearby.
