Left spinning, but this street festival really is our cup of tea!
REVELLERS enjoyed an afternoon of fun in the sun on Saturday when they flocked to the annual Gayton Road Festival in Hampstead. Families turned out in force to join in the festivities, which included colourful cake stands, flower stalls, live music and fairground attractions.
Organised by the Gayton Residents Association, the festival, which has been running for more than 30 years, proved a huge success.
Chief organiser Red Szell said: “It’s always great to see children and families out in the street all having fun. Everyone chatting and socialising together, it was the perfect way to celebrate the diversity in Hampstead.”
