VOTES are pouring in at the New Journal as people busy themselves nominating their favourite bar, club and pub in the borough. The voting is part of the Best Bar None awards scheme, launched by Camden Council and the police to make our drinking holes safer places by rewarding well-run establishments.
While this is the second year the awards scheme has been rolled out across the borough, it is the first time the New Journal has been its media partner, and to celebrate we are holding a New Journal Readers’ Choice award.
There can be only one winner – as chosen by you, the New Journal readers – so get voting.
Other prizes hotly contested this year are: Best Pub, Best Club, Best Bar, and Best Bar None Overall winner. The venues will find out who has bagged the trophies, as decided by a judging panel, on October 8 when they attend a glittering ceremony at the Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel in Holborn.
