Gospel Oak Primary net a High-Fives schools double
THERE was double delight for netballers from Gospel Oak Primary School this week when they lifted two titles in the Camden Schools Sports Association’s High-Fives Championships.
Players from 10 schools from across the borough battled it out for top honours throughout the annual tournament, which was held at the
La Sainte Union in Highgate Road.
Gospel Oak ‘A’ team were in stunning form as they won all nine of their league games to be crowned champions with maximum points. Their success put them into the play-offs for the High-Fives title and they clinched it by beating Primrose Hill, Brookfield and Fitzjohns schools.
Not to be outdone, Gospel Oak ‘B’ team also picked up maximum league points to complete a memorable double.
