Town to overcome Jets lag
KENTISH Town will be hoping to return to winning ways on Saturday when they travel to Hertfordshire to take on the Oxhey Jets.
Town are sitting 12th in the Premier Division of the Spartan South Midlands League after suffering back-to-back defeats against Colney Heath and Langford.
The team, which is made up of some of the best players from across Camden and Islington, is struggling to find any real consistency in their debut season in the division. They are 13 points behind leaders Harefield United.
On Saturday Jonathan Donoghue and Karim Essiaghi were both on target in Town’s latest home game against Colney Heath at Barnet Copthall Stadium.
But it was the visitors who netted all three points after two goals from Aaron Clarke and strikes from Mark Teasdale and Richard Howard sealed a 4-2 victory.
