Refuge in library
• IN all the discussion there has been about the purpose of a library, I haven’t seen any praise for the little café on the second floor of Swiss Cottage library.
It has become a quiet, pleasant and restful place, with extremely reasonably priced home-made food, sofas as well as tables and chairs, and even a book-exchange.
It is a delightful refuge, relaxing but not noisy or stressful. I almost hesitate to mention it in case it becomes too popular, but I do think it deserves a few words of praise.
