Sunday League: Seven-goal blast sees new boys Packenham retain their 100 per cent record

NEWCOMERS Packenham remain the only team in the Camden Sunday League still boasting a 100 per cent record after they hit seven past Tevekkeli at Hackney Marshes.
The Division Three side were fortunate to find themselves two goals to the good at the break on Sunday.
First Daniel Wright’s cross somehow managed to find a way into the back of the net, before a deflected free-kick from Jaron Robinson doubled the advantage. Any hopes that Tevekkeli had of getting back into the game were soon dashed when they had a player sent off.
Packenham took full advantage of their extra man, with new-signing Steve Collins and defender John Conway both adding their names to the score-sheet with powerful headers.
Strikers Wright and Robinson both scored again to take their formidable partnership to 26 goals so far this season. In the final minutes, captain David Traylor completed the rout to lead Packenham to a resounding 7-0 victory.
The result leaves Packenham third in the table, three points behind league leaders Lord Tredegar with two games in hand.
Elsewhere in Division Three Enate United come from 2-0 down to beat FC Bertoli 4-3 thanks to a second-half hat-trick from Jack Hughes and a well-taken strike from Ruairi Joyce.
In Division Two the Sir Robert Peel are still seven points clear despite being held to a 4-4 draw against Field Crusaders.
Peel looked well on their way to clinching their eighth win in nine games after goals from James Lindsay, Troy Ryan and John Bob opened up a 3-0 lead.
The Crusaders managed to pull a goal back through Eray Halil, but the celebrations were short-lived as Peel quickly restored their three-goal advantage courtesy of a neat finish from Jay Caesar.
In a frantic finale, the Crusaders hit back to level the scores with Halil scoring his second of the game, a well-taken goal from Salih Taspinar and a Stephen Antoniou penalty.
The biggest win of the weekend belonged to Dinamo Dorigo, who stormed to a titanic 8-1 win over Surreal Madrid to seal only their second win of the season.
Striker Steve Irvine led the onslaught with a hat-trick, which he completed with a sensational 30-yard effort after spotting the goalkeeper off his line. Chris Evans chipped in with two goals, while Ben Fox was also on target for Dinamo.
The only Division One game saw the Constitution bounce back from a run of disappointing results with a thrilling 4-3 victory over Cobden Athletic.
The Cons found the back of the net with their first attack as Billy Evans opened the scoring.
Minutes later Scott Read latched on to a long ball from Adam May before guiding his shot past the onrushing keeper.
The Con’s then made it 3-0 when Laurence Lee out muscled the Cobden centre-back and drove the ball home into the bottom corner with a neat finish.
Cobden showed great resilience as they battled back to level the scores thanks to goals from Ryan Harley, Patrick Jones and Jason Williams. But with just minutes left on the clock the Constitution stole all three points courtesy of a deflected effort from Sam O’Neill.
