FA Cup: Second Round
Spurs 1, Northampton Town 4
SPURS’ Cup run came to a disappointing end on Sunday when Town ran out comfortable winners at Broxbourne.
The visitors took an early lead but Tottenham quickly hit back to level the scores thanks to a neat finish from Kirsten Thomson. But Town hit three more goals to book a place in the third round.

Spurs dominated the play but failed to find a way past Maggie Murphy, who put in a heroic display at the heart of Camden’s defence. Town could have won it late on, only for Carmel Clinton to be denied by a last-ditch challenge.
