Snow White and the seven (silver) dwarves

HI HO, Hi Ho, it’s off to work they go – as Doc, Happy, Sneezy and the rest of the dwarfs joined Snow White on stage last week for a special pensioners’ production of the classic fairy story.
Silver-haired actors from the Third Age Project acting troupe were anything but Dopey, Sleepy or Grumpy as they got to work – as their famous ditty goes – on the Christmas Show at the Dick Collins Hall in Redhill Street, Regent’s Park.
Eppi Caredda, 70, from Grafton Way, played Grumpy. “Am I grumpy?” she asked. “No – anybody suits me. I’ve always acted, I can do anything.”
The charity’s memorable shows, which in the past have included Cinderella and Dick Whittington, are known to pack in the crowds and usually fill the tenants hall to leave standing room only.
The old stagers were joined onstage by pupils from nearby Christchurch Primary School.
