Brothers can’t lose: There’s Gooner be no Villains
BROTHERS Patrick and Stanley Kavanagh are enjoying the battle for a place in next season’s Champions League between Arsenal and Aston Villa more than most as they have split loyalties.
The pair, who live in Belsize Park, enjoy watching the Gunners with their friends and have even stepped out on the hallowed turf at the Emirates Stadium where they met Arsenal legends Charlie George and Perry Groves.
But with their dad Michael coming from the Midlands, Patrick, 12, and Stanley, 9, also have a soft spot for Villa, and were thrilled on Boxing Day when they were invited to be mascots when the two teams battled out a 2-2 draw at Villa Park.
