Bell to the rescue: Comeback earns cup draw
IT was honours even as the Year 6 Camden District team twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Islington in the group stages of the Kay Trophy at Regent’s Park.
Islington took the lead within three minutes when Callum Cushing scrambled home a Harry Husseyin corner.
Chris Bell pulled Camden level when he latched on to Guysat Henriet’s weighted through-ball, but Islington quickly restored their advantage courtesy of a smart finish from Lewis Johnson.
Camden dominated the second half and finally found a way past Islington keeper Malik Aziz when Bell slotted home his second of the game from close range.
