Chat at the checkout
• AS a supporter of the staff of our local library in Kentish Town, I agree with much of what was written by last week’s letter writers (February 12).
I enjoy the chat while having my books checked out. I hope the council will consider the role the library plays in all of our lives. It is a centre for many activities and will become more so in the troubled times to come.
We are very lucky to have such a resource so accessible.
