The Saints eye up a double
PLAYERS from St Pancras Football Club are still eyeing a league and cup double after a string of impressive results in the Under-12s Division. Despite fielding a depleted side on Monday, the Saints progressed in the Challenge Cup with a 2-0 victory over Islington Tufnell Youth thanks to goals from Alfie Francis and Jack Smith. The win follows a convincing league performance that saw
St Pancras beat FDS 5-0. Alex Tegene scored a superb hat-trick, while strike partner Hendrick Bungisa bagged a brace.
Still in the Under-12s age group, Isledon Wolves are three points clear at the top of the ‘B’ league after a resounding victory over Tufnell.
Aaron Hammond and Alfie Costello led the Wolves attack with two goals apiece. Brodie Cousins and Elijah Alexis-Grunberg also found the back of the net as Isledon ran out 6-0 winners
