Cheering on Cloud Nine: Gospel Oak boys and girls triumph again

SCORES of youngsters from across the borough raced into their half-term holidays on a high this week after scooping top honours at a major sporting competition.
On Thursday more than 300 primary school children flocked to the Somers Town Sports Centre to take part in the annual Sportshall Athletics Championships.
Organisers from the Camden Schools Sports Association joined forces with the School Sports Partnership and NVQ students from the Talacre Sports Centre to make the tournament as popular as ever – with 166 pupils taking part in the event for the first-ever time.
Following an afternoon of intense action, it was the boys and girls from Gospel Oak School that were cheering loudest yet again as they won the trophy for the ninth year running.
