Mills was convicted

• I WAS shocked to read your glowing article in defence of David Mills (Mills has support of his family, February 19). After a long and thorough trial in Milan, Mills has been convicted of fraud. Unless he can successfully appeal it, his conviction stands. Why are you being soft on him?
