A hated ideology

• I READ your recent obituary of a prominent British Communist Party member.
I have lived in former communist countries for many years. Communism fell swiftly because most people who had lived under it hated it.
It is well that the hammer and sickle and all it symbolises is being buried along with its misguided proponents.
