Half-term fiesta: Kids enjoy special taster sessions in sport bonanza

YOUNGSTERS from across the borough went sports crazy during their half-term holidays in a series of special ‘taster’ sessions.
Held at the Talacre Sports Centre in Kentish Town, scores of primary school children were invited to take part in a sports bonanza, which included trampolining, gymnastics, basketball, table tennis and football sessions.
NVQ level three sports development students received funding from Sports Relief to get more kids involved in sport, and their holiday scheme proved a roaring success with more than 100 eight to 14-year-olds turning up to take part in the action.
