Jaded: Goody graffiti returns, but this time lasts only a few hours
A GRAFFITI artist returned to the scene of his “crime” on Tuesday, plastering a newly whitewashed wall in Kentish Town with another stencil of Big Brother star Jade Goody. This time she was pictured in floods of tears with the title: Keep On Watching.
And for the second week in a row, the council’s whitewashing team – remember them, they are not allowed to touch a Banksy but everything else gets wiped – quickly got to work to remove it.
Ms Goody, who is fighting terminal cancer, was pictured briefly on the same wall last week with a pound sign on her head in an apparent reference to her media deals.
Gary Thompson, who lives opposite, said: “They can’t keep doing this. I think they will have one going up every week.”
A council spokeswoman said: “In line with our policy around all offensive graffiti it was removed.”
