At the flicks
• FURTHER to Janet Richardson’s letter (Priced out, March 5), three of us turned up at the Everyman cinema on Haverstock Hill, one evening last week to find the tickets were £12 each (no concessions).
So we popped down to Swiss Cottage.
Admittedly we didn’t see the film we had originally planned to see but it was one on our “wish list” and it cost us £5.50 each.
Of course, we would like to support our nearest cinema but not at £12 a seat – however spacious.
