Reward: £20,000 put up as police continue hunt for Sharma’arke killer
DETECTIVES have offered a £20,000 reward in the hunt for the killer of teenager Sharma’arke Hassan. Sharma’arke, 17, was shot dead in Camden Town last year. He died in the Royal Free Hospital on May 28, four days after he was shot while with two friends on a canalside path in Gilbey’s Yard.
Although CCTV footage captured a group walking into the alley before the shooting, no one has so far been charged with the murder.
Detective Inspector David Rock said: “Sharma’arke’s family have many unanswered questions and it is only by identifying those responsible that they will be able to go some way to answering those questions. I believe that there are some people in Camden who know the identity of those responsible.”
The reward is being offered for information that leads to the conviction of Sharma’arke’s killer.
