Clubs kick off their cup campaigns

PLAYERS from Hampstead Football Club took a welcome break from league action on Saturday when they kicked off their campaign in the Under-10s Challenge Cup at Market Road.
Hotshot Eric Melo scored twice as Hampstead breezed into the next round with a win over Harbour. Luke O’Leary was also on target in a convincing 3-0 victory.
The cup action continued in the Under-12s age category with Isledon Wolves beating Paradise Panthers. Alfie Costello scored a quick-fire double to lead Wolves to a comfortable 2-0 win.
The club’s Under-15s side was also victorious in their game against New Orleans. Enoch Adjie scored twice, while Ishmail Koroma and an own-goal completed the scoring in a 4-2 win.
