Getting a taste for a tumble
YOUNGSTERS got their first taste of competitive gymnastics on Wednesday when they flocked to the Talacre Community Sports Centre in Kentish Town for a tumbling fun festival. Weeks of practising and preparing paid off as more than 80 children from eight primary schools showed off their perfect presentations in the grand finals.
The festival was organised by the Camden Schools Sports Association in conjunction with the Camden School Sport Partnership and Camden Gymnastics Club.
After a day of intense action, boys and girls from Gospel Oak School (above) were jumping for joy when they were crowned the overall winners.
Children from Christchurch School in Hampstead, Rhyl Primary and St Paul’s School also all won medals.
