Semi-final special: Camden and IslingtonYouth League Challenge Cup

TOP teams from the Camden and Islington Youth League went head-to-head in the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup on Friday at Market Road.
Belsize Park was the first side to book their place in the final with a nail-biting win over Angel Islington in the Under-9s Alan Michael Browne Challenge Cup.
Goals from Laurie Mills and Jonny Sheves gave Belsize a commanding lead. Angel pulled a goal back, but Belsize held out to seal a 2-1 victory thanks to goalkeeper Max Sosna, who put in a player-of-the-match performance.
Hampstead await in the final following their narrow 1-0 win over Brunswick. Kai Steinsson-Brady grabbed the only goal of the game when he collected the ball 20 yards from goal, cut inside the defender and unleashed a stunning shot into the top corner.
In the Under-10s Challenge Cup, ‘A’ Class ran out 2-0 winners against Highgate Rangers thanks to goals from Michael Copus and Ollie Francis. They will now face Angel Islington, who beat Bridge Rovers 2-0.
Angel will also be vying to win the under-11s trophy after beating Hampstead 1-0. They will be up against Futebol De Salao, who needed extra-time to see off ‘A’ Class.
The game of the night came in the under-12s cup where Hampstead came from 2-0 down to beat Islington Admiral Hawks. Charles Prince grabbed a hat-trick, while Shane Cojocarel and George Yianni were also both on target to seal a thrilling 5-3 victory.
Chapel Boys await them in the final after they beat Crown and Manor.
In the under-13s tourney, Somers Town reached the final for the second year running with a 1-0 victory over EC1 Youth. Arti Krasniqi latched on to a cross in the penalty area by Moses Quiquine-Nicholls to net the only goal of the game.
Town will now play Peel, who progressed with a narrow 1-0 victory over Hampstead.
