Mega-splash thrills: New End kids scoop schools swim championships

YOUNGSTERS from New End Primary School in Hampstead made a splash on Wednesday when they won the Camden Schools Sports Association Swimming Championships.
Children from 10 primary schools across the borough turned out for the annual event, which was held at the Swiss Cottage Sports Centre.
After a series of thrilling races, swimmers from St Paul’s School in Hampstead took the runners-up spot, while Eleanor Palmer School in Tufnell Park finished third.
The gala was organised by the CSSA in conjunction with Camden Swiss Cottage Swimming Club, Talacre NVQ students and the Camden School Sports Partnership.
